Beautiful South welcomed special guests to the stunning Lainston House Hotel near Winchester to officially unveil the south’s new premier lifestyle magazine.
At the first of a series of intimate launch events for the publication, a dozen guests enjoyed afternoon tea and drinks in the Houghton Suite. There was also the opportunity to hear more about the inspiration behind the publication, its concept and content from Beautiful South magazine managing director Denise Lloyd, editor Henry Ascoli and graphic designer Zoe Mirza.
Among those in attendance was former Southampton footballer and public speaker Francis Benali; Gary Whiter from Winchester’s Cabinet Rooms - organisers of Winchester Cocktail Week; and Jo Watts of Petersfield business Sew Creative, inspired by the resurgence of traditional crafts.
Further exclusive launch events of this kind are planned for the coming months.
Beautiful South editor Henry Ascoli commented: “It was an absolute pleasure to be joined by so many influential and inspiring people with connections to the local area for what proved to be a memorable afternoon.
“Thankyou to all who attended the event and joined us in marking the start of an exciting and unique project – we hope you will all be able to play a part in shaping the future of Beautiful South.”
