A new gift shopping experience comes to Winchester
Posted: 7th November 2017
With increasingly homogeneous high streets and independent retailers fighting to survive, shoppers can struggle to find unique gifts. All this looks set to change with the arrival of The Rare Brand Market.
Founded in 2008, aiming to bridge the vast gap between a London-style shopping event and a regional charity fair, its pop-up markets to date have been primarily on The Goodwood Estate in West Sussex.
The Rare Brand Market focuses on emerging brands, mostly created in the last one to three years. Over one hundred British brands will occupy The Winchester Guildhall, of which approximately one-third are based within an hour of Winchester. These are brands you won’t yet find on the high street and are created by businesses with great stories.
To find exceptional products and meet their founders, visit The Rare Brand Market. Always held in magnificent venues, never outside or in a marquee, we put the theatre back into shopping, making it pleasurable again.
Founder Emma Schwarz, who hails from the South coast, has worked for giants like Marks and Spencer PLC, as well as luxury product start ups. Recently she has consulted for the Limewood Hotel Group, helping to create their exclusive retail range. As a passionate foodie, Emma has judged with The Guild of Fine Food / Great Taste Awards, written a cookbook and published a food magazine.
The Rare Brand Market’s distinctive shopping experience and diverse collection of brands really is a pop-up Lifestyle Shopping dream come true!
