Beautiful South The South's Premier Lifestyle Magazine

Celebrating our second year in print - a note from the Managing Director

Posted: 2nd May 2018

We are delighted to present you with this very special 2nd Anniversary edition. It has been an incredible journey, since our launch in 2016, and we have been encouraged by the positive response from our readers… you!

As part of our second year in print we have two competitions for you to participate in: win tickets for Goodwood’s Festival of Food and Racing in May, and a day out at the Beaulieu Supercar Weekend this August.

We have an article on the Goodwood event. Also, there is a feature encapsulating all the brilliant attractions on offer at Beaulieu throughout the year.

This bi-monthly publication is unashamedly inspired by the beautiful area in which we live. As a complimentary lifestyle magazine our primary focus is to present our readers with many of the finest aspects of life across the Hampshire, West Sussex, and the surrounding areas.

In our two years, this has been achieved by highlighting the excellence of local fashion, style, interiors, outdoor living, food and drink, health, motoring and more. Fabulous local businesses – many of which are family owned and right on our doorstep – have been featured in countless articles too.

Today, we are now the largest printed and hand-delivered lifestyle magazine in the region. Our readership continues to grow in both print and online. The whole team at Beautiful South are incredibly excited to see how our content will develop.

In this special edition we have an excellent interview with Dame Esther Rantzen DBE. It is an honour to have the opportunity to feature her charity work and television career in this magazine. Let’s not forget about her connection with the glorious New Forest. Dame Esther is a radiant example of putting other people first and valuing life. Enjoy the read.

Furthermore, we spoke to local designer Deborah Campbell about the importance of sustainable fashion. She believes there has been a shift with many retailers’ who are using sustainable practices.

Beautiful South strives to publish content which is of interest to you. This publication would not be possible without your ongoing support. That’s why I am interested in hearing about what you think my team should be writing about. If you have any ideas on how we can continue to improve our content, please email myself at info@beautiful-south.co.uk.

Here’s to the next year!
