London Musicians return to The Greyfriar by popular demand
Posted: 29th November 2018
Music lovers are in for a real treat next Tuesday evening 4th December, when they head down to The Greyfriar pub at Chawton, near Alton where they will be able to hear original music from two of London’s finest singer-songwriters.
Danny Gruff and Dave Giles will share the evening, individually presenting their own unique and beautifully crafted music on their return trip to The Greyfriar.
“Both musicians are back by public demand,” commented Greyfriar Landlord Simon Brencher. “Our head chef Dan has some great music contacts in London and has been organising a series of First Tuesday Music. He has managed to persuade a number of high quality musicians, presenting a wide range of musical styles, to make the trip down to Hampshire to play for us. It will be great to have both of these amazingly talented musicians back again for our special pre-Christmas music night.”
This intimate evening of music will feature West London’s Danny Gruff, presenting songs from his debut album and music he has played with renowned musicians such as James Bourne of Busted, while on tour throughout the UK. Danny has had his single ‘Comfortable’ get to Number two on the ‘Amazing Radio’ chart.
London based Dave Giles mixes his British-folk and Americana, with tracks from his recently released album 'Tennessee & 48th’. Dave is coming to the Greyfriar after a sell out album release show at Camden’s Monarch.
Music starts at 7.30 pm.
