Rowans Moonlit Memories Walk Early Bird Offer Ends 31 January

The Early Bird registration fee offer for Rowans Moonlit Memories Walk finishes at midnight on 31 January.

For just £10 you can register online to take part in either the 6 or 10 mile circular route, taking in the illuminated scenery of Southsea, Old Portsmouth and the Historic Dockyard, on the 16 May.

Craig Willcock, Rowans Events and Fundraising Manager stated: “Rowans Moonlit Memories Walk is an event that lets friends and families come together to create their own memories, whilst remembering people they have loved.  With entertainment, refreshments and support along the routes, it always makes for a special night. All whilst raising vital funds for the local Hospice, as we suggest everyone tries to raise at least £100.”

So, take advantage of this 50% offer and fix a date in your calendar. Last year friends Joanne Spence and Elaine Richomme used the evening as an opportunity to reunite after not seeing each other for many years. Joanne Spence stated: “Elaine and I have been friends for a long time, since we were five! We grew up in Birmingham, but ever since we have lived far apart from each other for many years.  During this time, we have both lost people dear to us and wanted to do something together to remember them.

Rowans Moonlit Memories Walk has provided us with our first opportunity to actually do something together because distance kept us apart when we lost our loved ones. Southsea is a lovely place for the Moonlit Walk, and because we are aware of the important work hospices do, it is fantastic that we can raise money for Rowans whilst spending this time reminiscing together.”

Whatever your reason for taking part, don’t miss out on the Early Bird registration fee offer of £10 per person by signing up online at www.rowanhospice.co.uk/moonlit by midnight on 31 January.
